What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site can write to your browser. Related storage, such as localStorage, can hold a preference on the same device without sending it on every request. This brochure is a static site. It does not need cookies to show pages, send the enquiry form, or open the menu.
Types we use
Essential preference: we remember whether you chose Accept or Reject so the banner does not return on every page load. That preference is stored in localStorage, not as a third-party cookie. Analytics cookies are not set today. If a future sitting of this site added a simple visit count, it would appear in the table below before it ran, and it would run only after Accept.

How to manage or disable
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Rejecting does not block sittings information, field notes, or the enquiry form. To clear a saved choice, remove site data for this domain in your browser settings, or delete the localStorage key named above. You can also block cookies and site data entirely in the browser; the pages will still read, though the banner may return each visit if storage is refused.
Third-party cookies
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash. Those hosts may set their own cookies according to their notices. Storage Mapcore does not control them. If you reject our banner, we still do not set an analytics cookie of our own; font and image requests may still occur as part of loading the page.
Impact of disabling
Turning off cookies or localStorage does not stop you reading about journal review or sending a message. It may stop us remembering your banner choice. It does not change the educational nature of the sittings or our handling of journal files, which travel by email or post after you choose to send them, as described in the privacy notice.
